Auto-reply rules can now send a sequence of messages, not just one
A reply rule used to fire exactly one message when its trigger matched. It can now fire an ordered sequence instead — mixing text, images, an image album, a video, a voice note and a document — and the rule editor, the detail page and a shared editor bug all got attention along the way.
Highlights
- A reply rule can send an ordered sequence of steps instead of one fixed message, mixing text, images, an album, a video, a voice note and a document
- Existing single-response rules are unaffected — the new fields are additive, nothing about how they send has changed
- The response builder and the rule detail page were redesigned around a shared, color-coded timeline layout, fully responsive
- Fixed a typing freeze in the rich-text editor used across auto-reply, templates and message composition, triggered by having more than one editor on a page at once
- Switching a rule between single and multi-step mode now clears the mode you're leaving instead of leaving its old data behind unseen

Reply rules can send a sequence of messages instead of one
Until now a reply rule could only fire a single canned response when its trigger matched — one text message, optionally with one image. A rule now carries a response mode: Single Response keeps working exactly as it always has, and Multiple Steps sends an ordered sequence instead.
What you get:
- Mix any combination of text, a single image, an image album, a video, a voice note, and a document, sent one after another in the order you set.
- Each step can carry its own delay before it sends (shown as typing or recording on the recipient's side), so a sequence reads like a real conversation rather than several messages dumped at once.
- Steps reorder freely, so a sequence can be restructured without rebuilding it from scratch.
