Filter the delivery report by any date range
The message delivery report on your dashboard used to offer two fixed views, 7 days and 12 months. You can now pick any range you like, from a quick preset such as the last 14 days or month to date, to an exact custom range on a calendar. The chart, the delivered and failed totals and the data table all follow the range you choose.
Highlights
- A date range picker on the delivery report, with presets and a two month calendar

A date range picker on the delivery report
The delivery report chart on the dashboard had a two button toggle: 7 days or 12 months. If you wanted to see how last week's campaign did against the week before, or how a single month went, there was no way to ask.
The toggle is now a date range picker.
What you get:
- A list of presets on the left: Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last month, Last 3 months, Last 12 months, Month to date, All time and Custom.
- A two month calendar on the right. Click a start day and an end day to set a custom range, and the range is previewed as you move across the calendar before you commit to it.
- Today is marked on the calendar, and days in the future cannot be picked, since there is nothing to report there yet.
- A summary line under the calendar spells out the exact dates you are about to apply.
- Nothing changes until you press Set Date. Cancel closes the picker and keeps the range you had.
- On a phone the picker shows one month at a time and the presets scroll sideways, so it fits the screen.
BeforeTwo fixed views, 7 days or 12 months, with no way to look at a specific week, month or custom period.
AfterAny range you need, from a one click preset to an exact start and end date picked on a calendar.

The chart now plots real dates, not days of the week
The old 7 days view did not actually show the last seven days. It added up every message you had ever sent by weekday, so the Monday point held every Monday since your account was created. The 12 months view did the same by month name, so this September and last September were counted as one.
For a new account the two look much the same. For an account with a few months of history, the chart could not show a recent change at all.
What we changed:
- Every point on the chart is now a real calendar date or a real calendar month.
- A range of up to about three months is plotted day by day. Anything longer is plotted month by month, so a year of data stays readable.
- Days and months with no messages are plotted as zero rather than skipped, so a quiet week shows up as a dip instead of disappearing from the line.
- Dates are split on your own midnight, not the server's, so a message sent late in the evening lands on the day you sent it.
BeforeThe 7 days view added up every Monday, Tuesday and so on since the account was created, and the 12 months view merged the same month from different years.
AfterEach point is a real date or month inside the range you picked, with empty days shown as zero.

Totals, table and loading states follow the selected range
The rest of the delivery report card now works with the range as well.
What changed:
- The Delivered and Failed figures above the chart count only the range you picked, instead of your all time totals.
- The label beside them names the range and whether it is plotted by day or by month.
- The data table view lists the same periods as the chart, so every number is readable without hovering.
- While a new range loads, the chart area shows a placeholder in its place instead of an empty box.
- If a range cannot be loaded, the card says so and offers a Try again button, and a range with no messages tells you so and suggests widening it.
- The Today line at the top of the card is unchanged and still shows today's delivered and failed counts.
